383 stroker

the previous owner of my car had no idea what cam it has in it, its big though!!! is there any way to find out what it is without tearing the motor apart???

Axle/Gears: 12 bolt-3.73

You can put a dial indicator on the top of the valve and turn the motor over by hand, that will at least tell you the gross lift, and maybe from that you can figure out what cam grind is in there.
