Whats your budget? The cheapest would me TPI/t-5 and depending on mods the slowest. The LS1/t-56 would be the fastest but the most expensive. Depending on source, new/used, and deals three could be a big difference in price.
Used TPI motor + used T5 = under $1000
New LS1($5700) + new richmond T56($3000) = $8700
TPI stock et. - 14.8 to 15.8
LT1 stock et. - 13.9 to 14.5
LS1 stock et. - 13.1 to 13.5
Please be more specific.
BTW I choce LS1/T56

I voted for the LS1/T56 combo since it is, after all, the best engine/tranny combo listed. It is, however, the most expensive and most difficult to install out of the list.
If I was swapping one of the above engine/tranny combos into my ride it would probably be the LT1/T56. I think that it's a good balance between power and expense/install difficulty.
