Welding inner wing
I have just been outside to try and fit the bumper I got earlier this year, unfortunately the battery was flat so I couldn't get it up the ramps
A quick glimpse underneath the offside front however revealed a rust patch. Five minutes of tapping later and there is a huge hole where once there was metal
I am wondering whether it would be best to have a plate welded which will involve removing the vapour chamber and associated other parts. While these parts are out, would it be easier to have a new inner wing fitted? If so, are they easy to get hold of? Anyone know of a decent welder in Leeds?
Thanks for your thoughts.
