Has anyone bought from topgear.co.uk? I'm looking to get a pair of Kumho 712 tyres size : 255/50ZR16 and they seem to be a lot cheaper than folks like blackcircles etc. They are looking for something like £145 for the pair including delivery, as opposed to £172 from blackcircles.

Just wondered if anyone had tried them?

ps. also anyone know where's a good place to get an alternator reconditioned? It was one of many things that failed on a trip to Skye last week.....

 

Not used them before, but I'll have a look and see what sort of prices they have.

As for the alternator. I bought a recon unit once and it lasted for about a year. I'd just go out and buy something decent like a powermaster.
