Folks,
Just had my MOT, and while I've still got an issue with the handbrake ratchet, and had to adjust the handbrake cables to pass, I was wondering what figures you guys managed.
What I got was 600+kgF each for the fronts, 200kgF each wheel for the rear, with 120kgF for the handbrake.
Last year I got was 480kgF for the fronts, 180kgF for the rear, with 130kgF for the handbrake.
What I'm mostly curious about is the handbrake figures, as my front brakes are 13" wilwood 4 pots, rear is J65 discs.
Si.
ps. the 600+ is because that was the limit on their gauge...

Cant tell you what mine were exactly, i got one of the last old Mots and took no notice of Pauls braketester, the new mots, they write down the figures, like in the old days.
I do know the fronts were approx 400+ for single piston calipers, but my rear drums were about 175 on footbrake and about 140 handbrake.
I was suprised at how good the rear drums were for an old bus, disc handbrakes i find, are often not that good, unless its a reasonably brand new or pretty good setup.
I never leave the handbrake on when i can use Park.
