Re: Hello a new member from germany

I have been to Germany a few times and I have always wanted to take my car there.. I have been on the AUTOBAUN several times and wanted to give it a try in my car. How does your car hold up to the EUR cars?

TBI? odd...must have been for export only that year, cause they were all TPI (in Trans Ams) by then.

Nice colour!

@ibmtech :
Many german Autobahnen are meanwhile in bad condions.
I think it is not so much fun for suspencions
But really . I prefer to "cruise" with 100-130 km speed otherwise i pay to much for gas
@871LEIroc:
It is a official export modell.
I think most of the cars in this year which are delivered to germany and switzerland are TBI's.

I just change the EU-Mirrors because there so ugly

Sorry my english is not so perfect.

Best regards,

Marcus

I am going to Grafenwohr on 3 Feb again for military training for 3 weeks. I can't wait to goto to wall again.. Weather is going to suck, but I love the area.

Re: Hello a new member from germany

Ein Hallo aus dem schönen Aargau! :-)
sieht geil aus der transam! check out my car in my VB garage

Most 5 Liter TransAms are TBI in europe, mostly GTA's are 5.7 TPI here.

90% or even more of the Camaros here in Switzerland are 5 liters TBI and TPI.

I guess I'm the lucky guy here with a 91 Z28 5.7 TPI. It does not have the ugly "euro" mirrors (they mounted them because you can swing them away for safety reasons) but it has a Km/h speedo, so I guess it's a canadian model directly imported to switzerland

my camaro easily goes to 240Km/h (speedo reading) on the autobahn...but it's more fun to smoke the low torque euro cars on the redlights hehe
