2nd or 3rd Gen to keep??Any help advise guys?
Wow i have not been here for a while, infact i havent done anything apart from work!Ive known for a while that i have no choice but to let one of my Camaros go.It pains me but im now not achieveing anything when i do get spare time,im just dithering between the two projects. The 2nd Gen is mostly sorted apart from the final mission i have planned for it,and its on the road(nearly!),the third gen is basicly stripped, but does have its new Moser 9inch rear end installed complete with a Detroit True Trac,3.73s,adjustable panhard rod, adjustable torque arm, boxed rear control arms, new fuel tank etc,its all painted and looks dandy!I have sub frame connectors fitted along with a cage, that is attatched at every point with a 6" 1/8th thick steel plate, and a brand new set of Konis/eibach springs for the front and the back, poly bushes all round on everything!most of the parts to be fitted are all painted ready! But there is still work to do.This Baby was built to handle, but logically its the one to sell as the 1980z28 is closet to being finished.I know the third gen would out handle the 2nd but Im really torn what to do.I would probably have to split the third gen to sell it all and that again is more work-I have new headers y pipe, new lights all round, new brakes etc etc etc!WTF do i do?
If anyone is interested in looking at either i can send pics and would appreciate your views/input.

Hi mate,
What a connundrum.... I would keep the 2nd Gen as much as I hate to say it, it is more of a classic and like you say- nearer to completion. Then I would sell me some 3rd gen parts. Shoot me some pics.
Either way at least you still end up with a Camaro!!
Cheers,
Felix

Tough decision. Fifteen years ago I sold my '70 Z/28 and bought the '85 that I have now. The '70 was not a numbers matching car and the '85 was less than half of what I sold the '70 for, with a lot fewer miles. The third gen is a way better handeling car then the 2nd gen. Styling is a toss-up, I always liked the lines of the 2nd gens. Good luck which ever way you decide to go.
