Air tube from headers to cat
Air tube from headers to cat
Hey guys,
I'm thinking about replacing my cat with an exhaust cutout.
My problem is what to do with the air tube running from the headers to the cat. Any ideas, personal experiences, is it possible? Any help would be appreiciated.
Sincerely,

rip it out unless your gonna put the cat back for inspection then just tie it to the exhaust with wire
the air pipe is just to pump air into the cat to help it stay cool (as far as i know) if your not going to need it again i would take it right out. It won't hurt anything. But if you are going to make it look like it's still hooked up to pass visual inspection you can leave it there. It won't make a diference weather it's hooked up or not. It's pretty useless without the cat there.
I ended up just ripping it off the cat and ripping the cat out .
It sounds bad a$$ to me, it doesn't seem to affect anything,
the air tube that is. I'll try to get a pic of the rusty piece of ****.
I think it was the stock cat actually.
Thanks Guys,
