Just did hooker LT's on a 91 . There was no way around not hacking off nearly half the A-arm mount on the passenger side . Anyone else have to do this . After spending nearly $700 for the headers made for a third gen chassis , that is ridiculous

 

$700 FOR HOOKER LT'S????? mine were onlu $400 uncoated. all i had to do to get mine in was cut the "ear" off my tranny. mine weren't a big deal at all.

 

Acually $620 to be exact . They were bought coated with O2 bungs pre-installed from Jet-hot .

Hooker must have revised the design then , I wish it were as painless as that .

 

Didn't have to cut anything on my car to put 'em in. But I don't have much of a stock frame left.

 

How long ago did you purchase these headers?!?!? I have purchased my headers (coated) and I will be looking to install this setup in about a week or so and if I have t do some cuttin I won't be too happy. By the way it is a 87 Trans Am GTA
