wiil v6 exhaust bolt up to v8?

wiil v6 exhaust bolt up to v8?

i have an 87 with a 350 that needs exhaust... if i buy a v6 cat back, will it bolt up into the car and fit correctly to the cat flange?

ANY HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED!

Still tring to figure out why you would want a V6 exhaust. I would think it would be to small. But other than the size of the pipe, I would think it could work. Look for the sizes on the V8 cat and the V6 cat. If it is the same then it should bolt right in.

You could always have a shop throw a glasspak on there or rig up some custom exhaust... and jc whitney has a 150$ or so catback for ya... if u wanna spring for a better setup, you could spend the 200$ on hooker catback...

i havve the chance to buy a $300 parts car that was a v6 but has a new aftermarket exhaust, iroc rims, and ok seats... and my car needs exhaust, so i was thinking instead of spending $700 for all those things if not more, buying this car and switching things out.

Why not just spend the $300 on the parts car and $200 on a V8 cat-back, won't come to $700. Just an idea.
