would a 2 1/2 mandrel ypipe be louder than a 2 1/4 crimped ypipe? just wondering. i made a ****ty ypipe to fit my headers so i could get the car rolling and i just bought the ypipe thats supposed to go on there and its bigger and its mandrel bent. is there going to be a change in exhaust sound?

 

it will probably be a little bit louder

 

will there be a seat of the pants difference between my crimped ypipe and a dumped flowmaster and a mandrel 2 1/2 ypipe and a full 3" catback?

 

any guesses?
