hedman y pipe

I am installing hedman's shorty headders on my bird and was wondering if i should get the matching y pipe (part # 17470) instead of having a custom one bent. Also what size is the pipe 2 1/2 or 3 inch. I am installing a 3 inch system so i don't want to restrict it with a 2 1/2 inch y. My header collectors are 3 inch. Also I don't need a cat on my car to be emssions legal here.

its 2.5" all the way. i have one and cut the single 2.5" off and am going to have a shop bend and weld 3". should be cheap cuz they have a copy of what the pipe needs to look like they just need to bend it

What about just cutting them off and then using a Flowmaster 2 into 1 adapter with 2-2 1/2" inlet and a 3" outlet?

I think I am just going to get an exhaust shop to bend me one. I don't like the idea of cutting the hedman one. I think it would be cheaper to just get one made.
