I was mildly pondering getting a cat and wondering how many miles to expect out of one of those Catco cats. Also, when they do begin to clog, can they also begin to break up. Years ago on my '83 Z, one day I went out to my driveway to find a chunk of the honeycomb type cat material on the ground behind my car. How it ever got out through the stock muffler, I don't know. But if they do begin to break up, how do you get all of that crap out of the muffler?
