what headders to buy?

here is the engine combo: 383, 11:1 comp., 750 carb, comp cams xtreme 4x4 274 cam, twisted wedge heads, and weind stealth intake, with an auto trans. i want to run a true dual setup! i was wondering if the heddmen hedders were that bad of a fit, and if so what size primaries to run from hooker, the 3/4 or the 7/8 size. i was just hoping to save some money by buying the heddmens, but dont want the hassle! any advice or help is appreciated!www.camaroz28.com/~chris/mmexhaust/ this is what i want my exhaust to look like!:hail:

I would think that you would be disappointed with the Hedmans....they're only 1 5/8". You'll want some Hookers--maybe even 1 7/8's.

That's a very nice looking setup....except no X or H pipe to equalize the pressure!

The hooker supercomp's should fit without modification I belive. I would probably go with the 3/4" unless you have the money for the 7/8", you also want to get an x pipe. BTW, how much hp and tq is that engine putting out?

Cool, if you ever get it on the dyno or at the track post it up here.
