OK, this is like the 3rd exhaust leak I've had with the TES headers. Anyone have better luck with different brands? Now I have to replace the donut gasket, and it's supposed to be raining tomorrow and I'm leaving to go back to college tomorrow. It's gotten to the point now when I rev it up high there's a small backfire sound, sounds like crap. Sorry I just had to vent.

Sorry man... what kinda gasket is it? One of the reasons why I think the MAC exhaust looks interesting, it all bolts together, no gaskets needed I'm pretty sure... not quite sure how that works though...

It's a round donut gasket that goes on the driver's side where it connects to the cat, on the other side it just bolts using flanges, one time a bolt came out and that was another one of my leaks.

MAC makes headers??

I replaced my gaskets twice on my TES and then I switched to copper gaskets 2 years ago and not a problem since. I wish I had put them on to begin with.

You might want to try replacing the donut gasket with a copper or aluminum one. They can usually take more stress, and usually don't have to be replaced for a long time.

Thanks, how do I ask for one, I asked for one for my car '86 Camaro and the one they gave me was just slightly to small. Could I call summit and they have it?

Summit would probably have it, and if they don't you could try jegs. Out of those two I'm sure you could find the right one.
