Shop putting on Hedmans/y-pipe
Im only having the shop put it on cause I ain't paying for it. Im having them put on the headers, weld and drill an o2 sensor bung, and put on the y-pipe and weld it to the cat. Its gonna cost 240$ for labor and im not sure for the o2 bung. But yeah thats a lot of money but at least im finally getting them put on, I was just wondering if I should of had them make a custom 3inch y-pipe and just tell them to make it 3inch all the way to the muffler. But I dont think I ahve th emone yto do that yet though, so Ill tell ya guys the difference, shoudl sound a bit better and a little more performance gain cause my engine is crap. Gonna pick it up after school.

hmm, got it back and it seems like its almost quieter, most of my flowmaster sound is gone and it doesnt sound much throaty anymore...but besides that, when im in OD/D and my foot on the brake, idle is erradically jumpy between 500k-700k and it just jumps up and down between that range but it shakes the car like a **** so i kinda feel like its loping so thats ok, and when come to a light or stop sign to brake, i gently apply and around 20mph it gets really choppy in braking, maybe one of the brake lines are causing this problem? Also sounds liek there might be a leak on one of the header gaskets or y-pipe cause it putters whenever i go off the line, or unless thats what all headers soudn liek cause im not sure. other than those things, and the paint burning off that really smells, it looks fiund to me i havent inspected it all yet though.

o I found out that weird bogging was one of my spark plug caps was a 180* angle plug and it was mutilated and it was sparking on the header, and it was causing this weird bogging soudn and feeling tha tI thought was jsut small backfire. It shoudl easily be fixed by a 90* plug.
