question on exhaust for v8 305 92 firebird

Headers and a cat-back. I prefer the Hooker cat-back, sound clip is in the signature. Can't go wrong with either that or flowmaster though.

yep 3" exhaust and i prefer to run no cat. if you dont have to i wouldnt. the cat definately kills sound

Yeah, I have a 305 with Edelbrock TES Headers, 3" collector, no cat and a 3" custom cat-back with a flowmaster 80 series muffler. Here is what it sounds like.

I have a hi-flo cat, 3 in exhaust with a 80s Flowmaster. That sounds pretty mean. The thing that makes my car extremely aggressive is the cut-out. Now that is just plain awesome sounding
