I Need Help

If anyone has has a 305 TBI (or any 305), I really need to know which side the two brackets coming off the exhaust manifolds. They are two black about six inch brackets (I think one holds the alternator and one olds something on the front of the passenger side). If someone could maybe just go out to their garage I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

does the one holding the AC open ended or closed and is it coming from the bolt that's closest to the front?
