Think i should go edelbrock or not??

Ok right now i have hooker comp headers (been installed 2 months) going into a CRAPPY 2.25 y pipe that the local goondicks at quality exhaust did. Horrible job...anyways it then goes into 2.5 intermediate pipe then into a series 80 flowmaster. Well the flowmaster has to go thats all there is to it i hate it. At 3k rpm it is so loud it isnt funny. especially since i removed the cat. I want to go 3 inch and im definetly getting the hooker 3'' catback but i dont think i can find somebody to make a 3'' y pipe for my current header so should i just get new headers to?? i dont really want to but if i have to i will. I definetly want to go with 3'' exhaust..either the hooker catback or maybe the flowmaster 2 chamber american thunder (comes with 3'' pipe and a single inlet single outlet muffler) that would flow better right? may look like a v6 but it would probably make more power.

You can also get that Flowmaster system completly 3" with dual outlets. The flow with an extra outlet isn't gonna make much difference. If you don't want loud I'm not sure that is what you wanna go with though. They get louder after a while too.

well i want it to be loud but id rather it be real deep but maybe not quiet as loud. The flowmaster i have now is LOUD resonates (i guess thats what you call it) really bad at high RPMs. I heard the hooker and it sounds good so ill probably go with that. will be different anyways. everybody and there brother have flowmasters here...on everything from mustangs, camaros to cavaliers.
