My brother needs a new xhaust for his 91 z. I have borla on my 87 iroc and love it but he thinks it is too quiet. Were lookin for something equivalent to a loudmouth setup. What does you guys recomend?

 

you can wake up the volume and tone of any system with a good y-pipe or headers and y-pipe set up. the increased flow will also liven up performance a bit.
then there is always punching or deleting teh cat, that thing stops more than half the volume and toen coming out of the car.

Headers and a y pipe. Leave it open. You could install a straight pipe just so back pressure pops aren't that close to the heads.

 

My setup. It is VERY loud. Look in the sig. The cut out makes it loud.

 

I'm happy with my setup. Headers into the Hooker cat-back, sound file is in the signature.
