dual cats?

I have a 87 GTA 350 with stock manifolds and a single 3" exhaust with single cat. Before I get headers I want to know Should I get dual cats or is is one high flow cat enough. This will be for a about 450hp engine.
Thanx

I looked into dual cats awhile back, it seems like it's just a big hassle. I'm just gonna get a nice 3 inch setup with single cat. You can always get 4 inch mufflex I don't think that'll be restricting anything anytime soon....

Dual 2-1/4" will have more flow area than a single 3". If you're really going to put out that many ponies, you might want to consider the duals.

What headers were you considering?
