does this sound like a decent setup with dual style. flowtech headers to a flow y pipe to a dual branch angled out towards the rear pass tire and flared out. if i put glasspacks or just straight pipe i doubt i will have any clearance issues.

Flowtechs are the worst headers you could get. Though they're better than manifolds, I would at least get Hooker headers or Edelbrock. Be sure to get the pn for a 5.7 so you can get a 3" y-pipe if you want one.

like the new Lightnings? My friend has a new lightning and it had dual exits on the same side in front of the rear wheel. It's illegal unless it comes factory in a lot of states.

i dont care about legality or not. it does look exactly like the lightenings. i was just thinking its a cheap dual effect that shouldnt have any clearance issues.2 1/2" pipes and a glasspack shouldnt take up to much room. i could always make a path through the floor with a sledge lol
