straight pipes

im planing on taking my exuast off after the cat, and runing straight pipes, is this gonna be to to loud or what?

first time you pass a cop your *** is grass.

my buddie had a 1st gen stang, with stock manifolds and 2 1/4 pipe back to two glass pacs. thats not too loud. but it sounds like chit. especially when he goes above 3K

did you ever get to hear what it sounded like with just an open cat? cause this is gonna be a track only car in about 2 weeks once i get my 4th gen on the road, i dont wanna spend 300-500 bucks on **** that im not gonna use on the track, but for these next to weeks i want it to sound badass

well ****, if your gona be track only.... experiment.

do you have a welder?
try with just the cat, with just the muffler, or with nothing at all.
see what you like.
