Loose the cat then what?
Loose the cat then what?
I run a complete stock,92 spec edition 5.0 ltr Tbi.
I see most owners do something with, or to the cat.
Assuming I want to do away with the Cat, and fit a stright though pipe in its place.
My question is, what do you do with the air management pipe that is conected to the cat ?
Is there any way I can loose this as well?
Thanks for any help

If you have no inspections where they either look for the cat or test emissions, then yank it off! You can use a dremel tool to remove the little oxygen line higher up if you want.
I do have an older late 80s' Bronco that when they cut off the cat the oxygen tube still runs down to the general vicinity, but it works find too!
