Split Rear....HELP!!

Hey I am leaving the cat on my car and running straights...I want to know of there is any kits for split rear exit or a y pipe that i can split in the rear with 3 inch tips? Or would i have to get a shop to do it? Or should I just put a turn down before the rear axel?

Unless you want to spend the money for SLP's Loudmouth system, I don't know of a kit for what you want to do. If you have a shop do it, just make sure they do a good job of splitting it so that both sides flow evenly. Mine was done before I bought the car, along with a pair of 3" tips. Could have been done better, one side flows a lot more than the other. I'm planning on going with the Hooker catback one of these days...Oh yeah, personally, unless it's a true race car, I'll never have another exhaust that ends before the rear bumper. Just my 2C.

The LoudMouth system is actually meant for '98-'02 LS1 equipped cars, but as I understand it, they can be made to fit ThirdGens by moving some hangers around. You may also need to adapt it to your cat. You can find it at www.slponline.com under part# 31039 (dual/dual tips) or #31039A (3-1/2" slash tips) Price is $349.95 - Expensive, but a nice looking system. Hope this helps.
