I have an 87 firebird LT with the LG4 and with all of the emission control parts and such can I in stall headers I would like to install a flowmaster exhaust any siggetions would help

Sure. Several brands have setups to fit your car - SLP, Hooker, Edelbrock, Dynomax, Hedman. You'll want the type that has A.I.R. & O2 fittings, and y-pipe.
Suggestion: Get a system designed for '86-'91 TPI single cat, from headers to cat to cat-back. It will flow much better than the LG4 system.
