I heard that gm put a cross at the base of the stock manifolds to quiet the exaust. If this is true, how much better would the stock manifolds flow without these in place and would they even be worth taking out? Any performance gains? The reason I ask is because I'm going to AutoX as stock, so I need whatever I can get without being obvious. Thanks.
