Exhaust System Upgrade

I need some suggestions for an affordable high quality exhaust system, headers and cat back. I'm looking at coated 1 5/8" headers with a 3" cat back. Should I go to 1 3/4" with a lightly modified 350? I don't want flowmaster's cat back, and Borla is a little out of my price range. I'd like to keep it under $750 for the complete system and don't want any air hookups on the headers. SLP headers are nice but with coating and install kit it gets a little pricy. I don't want anything really loud, but loader than the dynomax muffler I've got now.

SLP headers dont need to be coated, and they're on sale right now. They are the best quality.

I saw them for $400 on SLP's website. Do I need to get the install kit with them also? Also should I got with the 1 5/8" or 1 3/4". I currently have a few mods but plan to be up to about 300-350 HP by the end of the year. I know the stainless don't need to be coated but I heard the stainless get a brownish tint as they age, also I'd like to lower the underhood temps as much as I can.
