Does the 3" Single In/Single Out Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back come with ....

Does the 3" Single In/Single Out Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back come with an offset 3" inlet, offset 3" outlet? Or is it a 3" center in/3" center out muffler? Also, what series Flowmaster is it? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

So, essentially, wouldn't the pipe that runs from the cat to the muffler on the 3" single in/single out be the exact same pipe used on the 3" in/2.5" dual out cat-back, right? Thanks.

MrJ, it is a 30 series muffler. I have the system and called Flowmaster on it before I bought it. The muffler is much to large for a 40 series. 84, it is a good system. I recomend it. I would actually sell you mine.

why get a flowmaster. everyone and their brother has one( and ive heard some people say their Grandma has one). get the Hooker Aero Chamber Cat-back from www.jegs.com for $199. Part # 16822 . its 16 guage aluminized steel and its got a 3" I-pipe. and its 3" all the way to the muffler and its got 2 2 1/2" outlets. and some nice quad tips. Its nice and thouty at idle and it just screams when you push it. I love mine. Ive had it for 5 days now and i cant stop driving my car. I love the sound. they prove to have more torque then a 2 1/2" straight pipe. and i noticed alot more low-end torque then i used to have with my glasspack that dumped out before the rear axle. I recommend the Hooker. i couldnt spin my tires for more then 4 secs with my glasspack. now i cant stop. I have Dayton HR/4 225/60R15 Traction:A Temp:A Treadwear:400
