Comments on SLP catback...

Is the SLP catback exhaust system good...What kind of performance gains do they offer compared to something cheaper like Flowmaster or Dynomax? Also, does anyone know if they are abnoxiously loud, or if they have a lower rumble? I am looking for a catback, and I want something that offers great performance and durability, but isn't so loud that I will be prone to getting a ticket. Any info guys...thanks!

SLP's cat-back is a great system. The quality of the system is much better than a Dynomax or Flowmaster, which is why it costs more. If you are a sucker for the stock look you may have a beef with it, the exhaust tips both exit on the driver side of the car, not one on either side as the stock ones do. But if you can live with that than go for it.

Cool, thanks for the input. I thought it must be a good system for the price of it, but then again I don't hear of a lot of people using it. I think I will put one of these puppies on my car, afterall, slp does know what they're doing. I don't have any problem with where the exit pipes are. Does anyone know how these systems sound though?

They are not obnoxiously loud at all. They have a very nice tone. I believe they still make them in stainless steel, too. They will last.
