crud....80 series or 40 series flowmaster??

crud....80 series or 40 series flowmaster??

a co-worker of mine just bought a 2.8 rs with a flowmaster and it sounds bada$$ but i don't know what series it is.i gotsta get one for my car. what's the differences between the 40 series and the 80 series????

I think the 40 is single outlet and the 80 is dual outlet.

I own a 80 series flow, I have it on my GTA with the L98. If I were you I wouldnt get it, the 80 has a very tinny sound to it a certain rpm's. It is not as muscle sounding as you may think.

Here is the american thunder cat back, dual 3" outlets.

He's right about that tinny sound at certain rpms, but i have also heard from several people that that sould goes away after awhile, we'll see.

hey, bringing back an old topic... but i think i found the part number... please confirm or answer if it is 17233 ... because on Jegs it says American Thunder dual outlet and on Summitracing.com it says its Force II dual outlet... im ordering this for christmas so an answer would be extremely appreciated...
