Im asking because I can't tell how long it is in the picture in my Jegs cataloge. I need one for an application I'm doing, but I require it to be very short. Also, how short could the flowmaster piece be cut and still retain a good flow into the single pipe?

You could call Jegs and ask one of the tech people how long it is. Judging by the pic in the catalogue,, I'd guess you could cut it down to 6" in length w/o getting into where it's flared at the 'Y'

I've got one on my car,Theyre around 16inches long.Save your money.Unless you absolutely have to have it,any compitent
muffler shop can make it for you a lot cheaper.

 

Well..the 2into 1 pipes I've seen from muffler shops leave something to be desired quality wise, and at $35IIRC it's not bad, Either way, tho...16" ot too long. Can that be cut down?

Yes you can cut at least 6in. off it.I know of 3 people who used the 2 into 1 myself included dont waste your money. I know $37.99
(jegs price) doesn't sound like a lot of money But just think of where else that money
could be used on the car.
