I finally finished getting my new exhaust on. Its the y-pipe from the headers with a dynomax muffler thrown on the end with a turndown. It sounds so good. Its quiet when you want it to be and really loud and deathly sounding when you get on it. It doesn't leave much ground clearance but its worth it. Plus I feel a lot more power with the muffler than I did when I was just runnng the open headers.

Two problems I see (beyond what you mentioned):

1) Getting tired of the constant noise right under the floor pan (sure got tired of it before the tailpipes went on the '57).

2) CO poisoning.

I love the sound but like five7kid said...CO poisoning. lol....

Yeah, I think im gonna run the pipe to the back of the car. Just to get the noise to the back plus CO poisoning doesn't seem like much fun.
