Flowtech's 1.5inch Help Techs! in a rush!

Why 1.5 inch? Is this enough for a 305TPI with ported intake and cold air setup. My ultimate plan is to put on an ATI Supercharger (after a rebuild). Will these flowtech's bottleneck my performance on the exhaust side? if so...then I should go with 1 5/8?
Thanks for your help!

1-1/2" are for stock-mild 305.

1-5/8" are for mild-serious 305 or stock-mild 350.

1-3/4 are for very wild 305 or serious 350+.

Go with 1-5/8 since you plan on an ATI.

1 1/2" -engines under 300hp (read: most all of them if you're honest)

1 5/8" -engines 300-350hp

1 3/4" -over that
