help with muffer choice PLEASE

I have a 91 RS Camaro. It now has a modified 355 under the hood. shortie headers 2.5' collectors and 2.5 all the way back. The cat and muffler are gone. The y pipe is 2.5' and leads into the 2.25' tips. Right now it is to loud to drive in town and racks to much. What muffler should i put on to give me a nice low, loud sound.

Borla, they have a great sound. The flowmasters are also good. Mine has a nice gurgle at idle and screams when you open it up.

Well the Flowmaster 80 Series is basically a direct replacement for the stock muffler. It has a single inlet and dual outlets. The outlets are 2.5" and you can get the inlet in either 3" or 2.5".

I'm almost positive that dynomax makes the same thing, a single inlet and dual outlet. You can get tons of oppinions on which sounds better but that's pretty subjective.
