Ok Im having trouble deciding what I wanna do. Right now I have a set of hedman longtubes on the car with true duals. The true duals have got to go. They are way to low...Its the mufflers that are real low the rest of the exhaust is OK but still pretty low.

I also have a set of hooker competition headers...they have been sandblasted and I want to coat them or paint them real good. I thought about using these but I will have to have a new y pipe made....last time they made me one it was HORRIBLE. it was crap...

I also thought about getting a Y pipe made and keeping the longtubes...

or just buy edelbrock TES headers with the 3'' y pipe.

Whichever I get it will be matted with a 3'' hooker catback.

If I were you, I'd switch to some smaller profile mufflers (like moroso spiral flows, or some spintechs), but you've decided to get rid of them, so in that case I would get a y-pipe made for the longtubes (from a different shop).

I wanna get rid of the duals thats all there is to it...I want my clearance back. Id kinda like to use the shorties also but Im not sure yet. Im gonna be running a hooker catback for sure and a fle cat (pipe with heat shields welded on). With shorties and a y pipe, the fake cat, and hooker catback i could get a state inspection and everything.

BTW according to the last owner he had 2'' drop springs in it...thats why im having so much problems with clearance.

Depends, if you plan on some more power mods soon, then I'd go for the long tubes now so you'll have them later on.

Then again the Hooker's will suit you just fine even up to 400hp.

Wow, 2" drop springs... That'll kill ya w/ duals. Mine's stock and I don't have too much trouble, but if I even lowered it 1" I would scrape on my driveway (gravel).
