is it too loud? I'm wanna get the 3 in/out. and how much was your exhaust?

 

i have never heard them, but there is no such thing as too loud.

 

I have the 3" in/dual 3" out system on my 89 RS with TBI. I don't think it's too loud at all, in fact I wish it was louder. My car was equipped with the smaller 2.25" cat instead of the 3" cat which prevents some sound from getting out, plus I'm using the stock exhaust manifolds which prevent a real loud exhaust tone anyway.

My system was about $330 from Summit.

 

i have the 3" in and out all the way to the sweet stainless tips.(they look soo good) i have a 3" cat and a 305(for now, 350 during winter) with the 305 it was quiet at first but then got louder as it all sealed up. nice deep beefy sound makes mustangs with pipes sound like high pitched 6 cylinders. the install is ez and a nice fit. all in all it is pretty loud, little interior resonence but it cost 318$ from jeg's--- cost me 600$ canadian but they wanted 800 over here,
--- If you like deep rich sound all the time and a loud roar when you punch it this system is for you.
