i just got a new exhaust system but left the stock cat converter i just wanted to know which is the best cat to get or if i should just leave the stock one on there

 

The best is most likely the Random Technologies High Flow converter.

i got a 3" in and out for my 82Z, it was from mac and it fit perfect and did nothing to performance(had strait pipe in before) but killed the sound a little

 

o ya it has to be street legal

 

where could i get one is there a site and will it make it louder and will any of them add performance

the best CAT for power is NO CAT.

I have personally seen an aftermarket 3" hi-flow CAT kill well over 100 horsepower on a 383 cube engine. If you want to confirm this, email me and I will give you the guys phone number who owned & tested the car.

ODB, what kind of converter was it?? How could an emmisions legal high flow converter, that obviously flows more than a stock converter, do that to a cars HP when it is allowing more air through the exhaust system than stock??

I really don't want to go calling some dude, so could u answer this??
