Anybody noticed a difference in sound after header install?!?

I know headers make an engine sound different......thinner metal, different harmoics etc. But my 350 TPI IROC now has this certain RPM range ( @ 2300-2800 RPM ) where it just ROARS! It's not a vibration. More like a "singing" sound. At first it seemed weird.....but it's not a vibration. Now I rev it there just to hear it

It's not a metallic sound.....sounds alot like a Q Jet when the secondaries open up.

Just wondering if anybody else had something similar occur after a header install?

Thanks

Definately, gotta remember any time you can get more air out of the engine easier, the louder it will be.

That's why I can't wait for my new setup to hear it.

Comp 268xe cam with a quite gear drive, aluminum pro lightnings, into coated long tube duals.
