How loud is the borla Catback?

If you open up the adjustable Borla catback, is it really loud. I want it to be really loud. I like the idea of stainless and adjustable sound too incase you need to get an inspection or a ticket cleared or something you could stick it back in. Lingengelter recommends this one in a book I have as the top performance muffler for these cars.
anyone?

Buddy of mine has the Borla adjustable cat-back on his 305 TBI '92 RS. It is definately loud with it opened up. I think it sounds alot better with it closed off though.

Why

You mean the quality of the sound is better, deep throaty as they say about the Flowmaster. Is the loud sound nice or just annoying?

Take a hacksaw and cut your muffler off of your cat-back. That's what it sounds like with the open restrictor.
