Heated O2 Sensor-What do you know?
I'm putting my headers on soon and I was told that installing a heated O2 sensor would reduce the time the car takes to switch from start up mode to regular operating mode. Who makes this heated O2 sensor and what is the part number? Where is the best place to get one? Have any of you done this? Please help me out.

Go to your favorite auto parts store and ask for an O2 sensor for a 92 Corvette ZR1. You will need to modify your wire harness some, because the heated one is a 3-wire setup. The two same-color wires go to ignition and ground (doesnt matter which) and the single color wire is the signal, it goes to your current O2 wire.

It's Bosche part number 13077. It's for a 92 LT1 and not a ZR1.

Just did mine and you can order for either a ZR1 or LT1, just as long as you get the one from Bosch #13077. Pep Boys has a Wire harness that matches exactly for the 3 wire harness on the sensor. This way if you ever have to replace the sensor you do not have to keep on cutting and splicing. Just plug it in. The part number for the wire harness is 85393 made by Conduct Tite.
