Car: 1992 pontiac firebird

Engine: 305 tbi

Transmission: 700r4

flowmaster 30 or 50 series

I want to put a flowmater system on my 92 305 TBI but after listening to to 40 series recordings I'm afraid that it will be too loud. I drive this car about 600 miles/week for work and can't have that much sound. Has anyone used the 30 or 50 series flowmasters. how about a recording if possible

hey man i have the flowmaster40 series and its sweet as heck. its the only flowmaster specifically made for camaro/firebird. its not loud unless you get into it and if its a daily driver, im sure you wont be. well im pleased with the sound, i would go with the 40. hope that helps

Use the series 40 mufflers. they are the best sounding ever. My brother has a 350 in his car with 350 horsepower and it sounds sweet. Its not too loud. Its perfect. If you want some information on the flowmaster series 50 or 30 go to www.flowmastermufflers.com and go to flowmaster mufflers link and go to the bottom of that page and click next page. The page has everything about every series.
