Quad Tip look, stainless steel or chrome? and where can I get them?
Ok, on top of adding a cowl hood pretty soon I'm also intrested in adding the quad exhast tip exit right under the bumper, my qusetion is who makes the tips that im looking for (I just want a tip no resonators or intercooled tips) and would I be better off with stainless steel or chrome? I've heard bad things about chrome ones that they seem to rust fast, or is that just if you don't take care of them? thanks!

Well, I know of two different ones. First, which I don't think you want, are the Borla Intercooled Tips. They come in a variety of designs. The other one is Hooker. They are chrome, standard exhaust tips. Jeg's sells them (pn: 520-21416 or 520-21417) They sell for about $30 each (one tip with dual outlets). Good luck

Sofar the Hooker chrome tips are what I've been planning on getting, but I wanted to see if anyone else made them in stainless steel.. I don't want my exhaust sound to be effected by the tips really except for the difference from switching to the regular pipes with point to the ground to these which point straight out so thats way I'd rather just go with a plain tip rather than intercooled.. I was told they change the sound a little? correct me if im wrong on that one please.

I don't really know how they will affect the sound from the exhaust. I personally have the Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back system with the 3" chrome outlets. I would imagine it would probably change it a bit, but I don't think that it will change it to the point it would be objectionable. For example, I don't think anyone but you will probably notice the difference. If anything, it will be a bit louder because the exhaust is now exiting straight back and not bouncing off the ground. Hope that helps a bit. Oh, by the way, nice choice of music!
