Y pipe?

Hello!

I just picked up a 90 Formula 350. As I'm sure you guys know, it has the dual cat setup, but someone buggered it at some point. The AIR tubes are all bent and welded (one is welded SHUT!).

Anyway, since I don't have emissions testing, I was wondering about putting on a Y pipe and ditching the convertors. What Y pipe do I need? Will it match up to the rest of the system (3in Flowmaster single outlet- yuck)? Will this increase the sound level alot (daily driver)? What do I do with the AIR tubes?

I would really prefer not to do headers at this point (no $$$), but I can't stand the little pft pft pft noise from the leaking exhaust...

SLP has Y pipes for stock manifolds. $200 last I saw. the Non-emissions hooker headers are only $150 so you might as well get those.
