Im only 16 and my grandpa would be like"what the hell are you doing that for"?I dont have access to a blow torch or anything like that.So how do i get it off?I guess i could go buy one if it came down to it.
Also,i have the stock muffler on mine and its a 2.8 and i wanna take the cat off.Would this sound ok with just the muffler or do i need to buy a dynomax

I am assuming you already have the bolts off. I had a hard time doing this too. The pipe goign into the cat was so tight that I had to use a hack saw and cut a diagnal cut across the overlapping cat pipe. Then I took a screw driver and bent the corners back. It was still very hard to get off, I have to twist it back and forth as I pulled on it. Then once I gutted it I put it back on and stick welded the slot closed because it was leaking.
