I finally have my headers in position. That passenger side header was a bastard to get on. I ended up taking the starter off and then finally it came in from the bottom. I am taking a berak before I put it all together though. At least 10 hours for the whole job.

I just put my older TES headers, which were on my '87 IROC, onto my '89 IROC this last weekend. It's a big job especially, taking off the older manifolds and trying not to break anything, including bolts! I still broke 3 bolts!! I started Thursday afternoon and finished the whole job on Sunday morning. I am slow since I clean everything and painted the headers and y-pipe and simply took my time and try to do the job ONCE! I hate re-doing anything more than once. The car started right up with no leaks and sounds great!!

Hey, even my wife helped get the y-pipe installed, what a gal!!

A job worth doing is worth doing RIGHT!

Good job!
