Dent in Dynomax 2.5" I-pipe

I ordered the Dynomax 2.5" cat-back from Summit last week. When I received it, there was a dent in the I-pipe, where it curves to go over the rear axl. I called them, and they sent me another pipe, which was dented in the same spot.
Anyway, I talked to a guy the other day, and he says that dent was put there by the factory for clearance.
Anyone else with the Dynomax have this dent? Is it from the factory, or did UPS someone play Star Wars with both pipes?

yeah what gives I put a Dynomax catback on and found that dent. I since then replaced just the muffler to Flowmaster and always wanted to replace the I-pipe over the axle. Is it just crappy Dynomax systems or all?

Yep, I have the same dent in my New I-Pipe That I just bought, made by Walker ($50 cheap thing 2.5 inch), I thought I dented it bringing it home in the truck, because I did put 2 small dents in the flange. But I looked at the one on the car, and its the same.

Yep, it's the same on the 3" as well. Man, I did a double-take when I saw this post, your username is 1 letter different from mine! Thought I was going crazy or something for a second...
