TES, best possible headers for my car?

Don't SLP me..Unless you know someone with a $250 set they are out of the picture. Are Edelbrock's pretty much the best I can do? I need the A.I.R. tubes by the way. I always hear they are the easiest to put on and net the most gains. Thanks alot guys..

Yes, I agree, the TES headers would be the best you can get. I know lots of people who have them and are very happy. You can coat them if you want to, I didn't, but they still have a nice flat black finish to them after you wipe off the shipping paint soot.

Its my opinion Edelcrock's are the worst. Dynomax, Hedman and Hooker are all better, and they're all a true 1 5/8" headers, instead of Edelcrock's stepped 1 1/2" headers.

Edelbrocks "supposedly" aren't steped anymore, but since you are in florida and need no emissions, get the Hooker non-emissions super comps for $150. Or do dual exaust will full length headers.

I would seriously looking into either a stainless steel set of headers or at least coating the TES's considering the incredibly hummid enviroment you live in.

I have heard many horror stories about fitting all the headers listed..I have heard of people gaining the most with TES and Mac headers..but Mac's dont fit well either. I am in FL for about a year..I still have MD tags..I will probably move back

I installed the TES on my car after I had them Jet Hot coated and had really no problems it's a tough job and takes some time
If you do get the TES do some grinding of the welds inside the tubes they leave a huge bead of weld in there....
