Dynomax cat back systems??

I'm looking to get a cat back system for my mildly mod 1990 5.7 with dual tailpipes (one exiting on each side of the car) I don't want it to be to loud but I'd like it to have a nice rumble at idle and I want it to have a nice throaty sound when I get on it. I do some highway driving as well so I don't want it to drone above my stero. I don't have hedders (someday..) and I have the dual cat setup.... Any suggestions? Alot of people are saying dynomax but even they have two different systems. What do you'se have and what do you think? :hail:

I think a Hooker cat-back would actually suit your needs. During cruising at 60mph it's barely even noticable. Not until you reach 2500 rpms do you start to hear it. And at WOT, just sounds great, sound clip is in my sig.

Marks right and others will most likey say the hooker cat back is fairly quiet, but when you get it on you can hear it!

for what you are going to pay for the hooker or dynomax ,I would suggest the Banks kit.It is about the same price and stainless, plus it has a awesome sound under WOT!..At idle though it is very tame until you get on it....then,look out!i have had it on mine for quite awhile now and have not heard another system like it that sounds as good..

Dynomax sound clip in my sig. It's the Super Turbo muffler 2.5" in/two 2.5" out

I don't know about the dual cat system though. I would make sense that they'd make it, and it should flow better.

I've got a dynomax kit from Jegs on my 88 TA, it is pretty quite at idle. I don't think it is that loud even at WOT, but I did have open long tube headers on for 6 months.
