Hey guys/girls,
Right now im running an 85 LG4 with the CCC with stock exhaust. Would like to go with headers and a catback. Do i need an o2 sensor with this? And if so, would it be possible to close off the o2 sensor fitting once i went non-cc? Did a search, but got about eleventy billion results. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Rob

Forgive my confusion, I'm assuming that by "CCC" you're referring to your car's computer. If so, yes you need an O2 sensor as long as your computer is connected. Down the road, if you disconnect it, just go to an auto parts store and buy a threaded plug for the O2 sensor hole.

I knew "CCC" should ring a bell.

I do believe you need an o2 sensor for a CCC.

And at that being 85 you should get a new 02 sensor.

O2 Sensor controls the mixture of the carb based on how lean or rich the exhaust is.
